What to include
The more detail you give, the more useful our reply will be. If you are writing about a device problem, please tell us:
- The exact device and version — for example "Samsung Galaxy S21, Android 14" rather than "my phone"
- What you were doing when the problem started
- The exact error message, if there is one — a screenshot is ideal
- Which steps you have already tried, including any from our guides

- A step in one of our guides that is unclear or does not work
- Reporting an error or outdated instruction on the site
- Suggesting a problem you would like us to cover
- Reporting a broken link or a tool that has stopped working
- Press, partnership or advertising enquiries
We cannot help
- Remote access to your device or live technical support
- Data recovery from a damaged or wiped device
- Bypassing passwords, locks or account security
- Warranty claims — contact your manufacturer or retailer
- Physical repairs, which need a qualified technician
Found a mistake?
Please tell us. We would rather correct a guide than leave it wrong. Include the page address and the step number, and we will check it and update the page. Corrections are the most useful email we receive.
