Troubleshooting tools we actually use
Eight utilities built alongside our Windows, Android, iPhone and laptop repair guides. Everything runs on your own device.
Most tool sites are a wall of a hundred calculators nobody asked for. This is not that. Every tool here exists because we needed it while writing a fix guide — and readers kept needing it too.
Start with your problem
Router admin page will not open, or your ISP is asking for your address
Phone keeps dropping WiFi and support wants your connection details
A settings or config file will not load and you suspect a typo
A log file shows the time as a long number and you need the real date
You recovered an account after a crash and need a new password

Why the list is short
We removed thirty-five tools from this page in August 2026. Most were calculators and converters that had nothing to do with fixing a device, and several pointed at pages that no longer existed. A visitor who clicks a broken link learns something about a website, and it is never good.
What remains is eight tools we have opened, tested and use ourselves. We would rather run eight that work than forty that do not.
How these tools handle your data
Seven of the eight run entirely as JavaScript inside your browser. The text you paste into the JSON formatter, the password you generate, the file you convert to Base64 — none of it reaches a server, because no server is involved. Close the tab and it is gone.
Common questions
Your router's admin page sits on a private address like 192.168.1.1, not your public IP. But when a connection fault is being diagnosed — by you or by your ISP — the public address is what identifies your line. Support desks ask for it first.
IP geolocation maps your address to your ISP's nearest routing point, not your home. Seeing a neighbouring city is normal and does not mean your connection is misconfigured.
No. Seven of the eight tools never send data anywhere. The IP checker performs a lookup but keeps no record.
Yes. No paid tier, no signup wall, no usage limit.
Yes, all eight work in mobile browsers.
Only when a repair guide needs one. That is the rule that keeps this page honest.
